morning.

It happened at around 1:30 near
exit 195 just north of Lexington.

State Police have confirmed that
there were injuries involved in the
accident but are not releasing any
other information at this time.

The northbound lanes of I-81 have
now re-opened in that area, but state
police advise that traffic is still
moving slow and that drivers should
expect delays.

The latest incident happened when a
tractor trailer heading south on
Interstate 5-81, hit the bridge.

Traffic was backed up for several
hours as V-Dot crews came in and
inspected the bridge for damage.

A premilinary report indicates that
the bridge is safe.

Steven L. Seymour was on a boat
with his wife when they crossed waves
created by another boat.

According to the Department of
Game and Inland Fisheries, Seymour
became unsteady and fell overboard.

His wife stopped the boat and
tried to rescue him.

Seymour was not wearing a life
preserver.

Divers will continue to search
the area a little while longer.
