control over large retail developments and may be adopting its own so-called 'big box' ordinance. They haven't decided yet what constitutes a "big box" store, but they did ask city staff to start coming up with some design standards that a developer would have to meet before they could start building.

control over large retail developments and may be adopting its own so-called 'big box' ordinance. They haven't decided yet what constitutes a "big box" store, but they did ask city staff to start coming up with some design standards that a developer would have to meet before they could start building.
