2007 season outside of the pre-season
polls, but the excitment level in
Charlottesville is high as the Wahoos

One of the big reasons for the
high expectations is Chris Long.

Long leads the Cavalier defense
that returns 10 starters from last
season.

Seeing Chris's Father, N-F-L Hall
of Famer Howie Long, at Practice is a
regular occurence in Charlottesville.

Howie taught his son well, as he
is a Pre-season All-American.

But he's not even close to the
top of the ladder in his own family.

GRAPHIC=HOKIE RESPECT When it comes to college football

games- fans frequently boo the
opponents as they take the field.

But two Hokie fans say that needs
to stop.

ENG#=3 VO-NAT

VO-NAT They've been circulating this

e-mail for over a month now, asking
fans to no longer boo the opposing team
at Lane Stadium.

We understand thousands have
received the e-mail.

News 7's Justin McLeod spoke to
the two who wrote the e-mail and has
more on its contents.
