The free event is really three
celebrations rolled into one... Bedford
County's Farm Day, the 200th

400th anniversary of the founding of
Jamestown.
The purpose of the annual event
is to educate and raise awareness of
the importance of agriculture... not
just in Bedford County, but also in the
nation.
So it makes perfect sense for the
celebration to be held at one of the
homes of one of our nation's founding

Farm Day is tomorrow at Poplar
Forest.
The free event is really three
celebrations rolled into one... Bedford
County's Farm Day, the 200th
anniversary of Poplar Forest, and the
400th anniversary of the founding of
Jamestown.
The purpose of the annual event
is to educate and raise awareness of
the importance of agriculture... not
just in Bedford County, but also in the
nation.
So it makes perfect sense for the
celebration to be held at one of the
homes of one of our nation's founding
fathers... especially one who was a
pioneer in the field.
