As students were getting settled
in, the Highty Tighties were practicing
on the drillfield and sounded great.

is a Junior this year.


He said it was a little weird
being back on campus, but he's looking
forward to getting back into the swing

end his sophomore year.

We spoke with Kenny Thompson who
is a Junior this year.

He said it was a little weird
being back on campus, but he's looking
forward to getting back into the swing
of things.

Other that finishing up a couple
of assignments to complete his grades,
April 16th was the was day he attended
class.


It was certainly a rough way to
end his sophomore year.

will provide a few showers and storms
today, but it appears to stay too far
north for any soaking rain. We're
carrying a 30% chance of afternoon
showers and storms today, with slightly
higher chances north of the Roanoke
Valley and in the Highlands. Warm
temperatures will return today along
with the humidity, as highs reach the
