The Virginia Department of

Earlier this year Virginia
lawmakers killed a bill that would have
required all public and private
colleges to install carbon monoxide

leak.
The year before, lawmakers killed
a separate bill that would have
required detectors in all rental

A stand of pine trees caught fire

The fire melted vinyl siding on

thousand dollars of damage.
One firefighter suffered a
shoulder injury. Another was hit in

September Last year, Randolph Macon Women's

Hundreds of students protested

A group of students even filed
two lawsuits to try to delay the
decision to admit men.
A judge eventually dismissed
those suits.....
And in December, the school
finalized the transition by changing
the name to Randolph College.

Three other students are
improving and are said to be conscious
and alert.
They were all in the same unit at
