CK/TITAN TITAN RADAR ANALYSIS

<< Good evening, I'm Brent Watts in the
SkyTracker7 Forecast Center. The high
temperature today in Roanoke was 86 and
the low was 71. Locally tonight, clouds

are filling back in compliments of an
easterly flow. This will keep mild,
muggy temperatures in the 60s and 70s
tonight. Look for a variably cloudy
Friday with only slight storm chances.
The national analysis shows a weak
front stuck over the area, and high
pressure nudging to the north. As this
ridge builds in, temperatures will soar
well into the 90s by the weekend with
record heat possible. Combine highs in
the upper 90s, and it will feel like
100+. Along with the extreme heat comes
a slight shower chance each afternoon.
Long term models suggest a break in the
heat by NEXT weekend. Get the latest
