was asked to check on the Sims family.

Investigators believe 41- year-
old Edward Sims Junior shot his three
daughters while they slept late

was put into use today......after a
student was grabbed by a man on campus.

from the university via email and text
messages.....

At around one this
afternoon, outside the Newman Library,
a female student was approached by an
older man who offered her a ride to her
next class....

When she said no, he went
to grab her but she was able to get
away.

He's described as a black
man, about 40 years old, 5'8-5'10 with
a salt and pepper beard.

He had on green tshirt,
khaki shorts and a white baseball hat
with a tan brim, with 'Nigeria' written
in green.

information you're asked to call Tech
Police.

morning.

Inside, he told the judge he's
seen the evidence against him and
believes the government can prove it
without a doubt....

In court documents, Vick admitted
helping kill six to eight pit bulls and
bank- rolling Bad Newz Kennels' bets on
dog- fights.

The judge accepted his guilty
plea.

mean for his NFL career....so we asked,
after Vick serves out his sentence, do
you think he should be banned from
playing for a short period of time or

banned from the league forever??

19 percent of whites and 48 percent
of blacks believe he should be able to
play immediately......the tables turned
when the question was about a lifetime
ban. 45 percent of whites think he
should never be allowed to play again,
while 14 percent of blacks agree with

That's really put a strain on the

homicide case.

The Radford photographer is
accused of giving his 19 year-old model
a lethal dose of morphine.

photo shoot at Shell's studio in June
2003.

Today, another key witness for
the prosecution - the medical examiner
- who studied pictures police gave him

Pictures that Shell took of
Franklin.

The medical examiner confirmed
that Franklin was already dead when
Shell snapped the photos.

He also said Franklin died from a
morphine overdose - and other drugs

contributed to her death.

The defense also called one of
Shell's models to the stand - who
testified Shell never offered her or
other models drugs.

Shell says 23 people could
potentially be called to the stand in
his defense.

complex will be replaced.

The news comes more than
a week after a carbon monoxide buildup
sent more than 20 residents of the
Collegiate Suites to the hospital.

surging.

past year, after the U-S government
allowed people to buy the emergency
contraceptive without a prescription.

Last August the F-D-A ruled that
adults 18 and older could buy the
product without a doctor's order.

That ended a three year battle.

Studies show two Plan B pills
lessen the chance of getting pregnant
if taken within 72 hours of
intercourse.

condition after he was rushed to the
hospital yesterday.

and "You, Me, and Dupree," is listed in
good condition at Cedar-Sinai Medical
Center in Los Angeles.

Emergency crews were called to
his home yesterday.

While published reports claim
Wilson had cut his left wrist and taken
an unknown amount of prescription
drugs, his publicist would not confirm
those reports...but did say Wilson
asked for privacy while he was
receiving care during a difficult time.

released from a hospital a day after a
car crash that critically injured his
passenger.

Authorities say Nick Bollea
(BOW-LAY-UH) was traveling at a high
rate of speed, lost control of his car,

and hit a raised median.

The car then flipped around...and
the back end hit a palm tree.

Alcohol isn't believed to have
been a factor in this accident.

Norfolk Southern gave the city
50-thousand dollars to hire an outside
consultant to study the museum.

The city hopes the Transportation

Museum can "achieve higher recognition
as a historic resource and tourist
destination."

A company in San Francisco was
awarded the contract- -one of five
firms that submitted proposals six
months ago.

The winning bid from Museum
Management Consultants had to be cut
down to size from 114-thousand dollars
to fit the 50-thousand dollar grant
from Norfolk Southern.
