Investigators believe they died

they slept.

case in Bob Shell's felony homicide
trial.

The Radford photographer is
accused of giving his 19 year-old model
a lethal dose of morphine.

VO-NAT Marion Franklin died after a

photo shoot at Shell's studio in June
2003.

Yesterday, another key witness
for the prosecution - the medical
examiner - testified that he studied
pictures police gave him - that were
taken of Franklin by Shell.

The medical examiner confirmed
that Franklin was already dead when
Shell snapped the photos.

He also said Franklin died from a
morphine overdose - and other drugs
contributed to her death.

The defense also called one of
Shell's models to the stand - who said
Shell never offered her or other models
drugs.

Shell said 23 people could
potentially be called to the stand in
his defense.

to switch feeds, isolate the problem
and get power on quicker in the event
of a problem.

Right now- the project is in the
planning stages.

APCO spokesman Todd Burns says a
substation could wind up near
Laymantown Road and Old Mountain Pass.

As for lines- Burns says there are a
number of potential corridors -shown
here in gold- that could work for the
project.

There would be about two-miles worth of
lines, supported by 100-foot high steel
poles.

The news comes more than
a week after a carbon monoxide buildup
sent more than 20 residents of the
Collegiate Suites to the hospital.

system was used after a student was

grabbed by a man on campus.

from the university around one o-clock
yesterday afternoon.

A female student was approached
by an older man who offered her a ride
to her next class.

When she said no, he went to grab
her, but she was able to get away.

He's described as a black
man, about 40 years old, 5'8-5'10 with
a salt and pepper beard.

He had on green tshirt, khaki
shorts and a white baseball hat with a
tan brim, with 'Nigeria' written in
green.

case in Bob Shell's felony homicide
trial.

The Radford photographer is
accused of giving his 19 year-old model
a lethal dose of morphine.

photo shoot at Shell's studio in June
2003.

Yesterday, another key witness
for the prosecution - the medical
examiner - testified that he studied
pictures police gave him - that were
taken of Franklin by Shell.

The medical examiner confirmed
that Franklin was already dead when
Shell snapped the photos.

He also said Franklin died from a
morphine overdose - and other drugs
contributed to her death.

The defense also called one of
Shell's models to the stand - who said
Shell never offered her or other models
drugs.

Shell said 23 people could
potentially be called to the stand in
his defense.

The news comes more than
a week after a carbon monoxide buildup
sent more than 20 residents of the
Collegiate Suites to the hospital.

The owners say that will

Blacksburg investigators

black people feel the same way.

think he should be banned from playing

of blacks believe he should be able to
play immediately......on the flip side,
45 percent of whites think he should
never be allowed to play again, while
