But the cosmetic craze is making it
increasingly difficult to get an

appointment at a dermatologist.

In fact a new study finds it's much
easier to get an appointment for a
botox

treatment than it is to have a mole

evaluated.

(VO)

In a study for the journal of the
American Academy of Dermatology,
researchers

tried to make appointments at
dermatologists in

U-S cities.

Some callers claimed to have a changing
mole.... a possible sign of cancer.

While others asked to get botox.

(GFX)

For the botox patients it took just
eight days, on average, to get an

appointment.

But patients with a potentially
dangerous mole had to wait 26 days to
see the

dermatologist.

(VO)

The study doesn't tell us why but many
experts suspect money.

Botox patients can be seen quickly and
easily and there are few, if any,

insurance hassles.

sometimes delays can be deadly.

"WE EXPECT SALES OF ONE
MILLION PER HOUR AS WE GET CLOSER TO
THE

DRAWING TIME OF 11PM."(6)

Mega-millions began in 1996 as the
"BIG GAME".

Back then only 6 states pooled
their money... The first pay-out was
JUST 5

million dollars.

With this jackpot... that wouldn't
even cover a fraction of the tax-bill.

Despite the odds... that's why
dreaming of the big win is still fair
game.

OF DAYS AND THEN I'D QUIT."

The parade of giant fruits and
vegetables is underway at Alaska's
state fair this week.

This big zucchini is just one
example--

It joined huge cucumbers, squash and
even what appears to be a big red
radish in the biggest vegetable
competition.

But it was a nearly 106- pound kale

that set a world record.

On campus and inside Lane Stadium
yesterday, it had the feel of a game
week.

The preparations... getting
Worsham Field ready for play
tomorrow... all signs pointed to a
normal season opener.

But outside of the stadium was a
different story.

ESPN crews were setting up for
live, national coverage not just of the
game itself, but also the flagship
pre-game show... ESPN GAMEDAY.

The attention given to tomorrow's
contest is proof that after the tragic
events of April 16th... the Hokie
Spirit has been adopted by so many
other universities and, really, the
entire nation.
