To support Virginia Tech as it
moves forward, opponents East Carolina
presented a 100 thousand dollar
donation to the Hokie Spirit Memorial
Fund.

Governor Tim Kaine was on the
field for that presentation and to
greet some first responders who were
also recognized for their contribution.

The Consumer Product Safety
Commission wants you to be extra
careful this holiday.

The group says ATV accidents have
caused 30 deaths in 20 states in just
the past month.

One problem is kids using
full-size ATV's.

A spokesman says 11-year-old's
shouldn't be driving a 500-pound
vehicle that can go 50 miles-an-hour.

It's estimated there are more
than seven million ATVs in the U.S.,
used by more than 16 million people.
