no hard and fast rule.
While his Cave Spring Veterinary

not always that simple.

I CAN REFUSE. IF THERE'S A SITUATION

IT. IF I FEEL THAT THE ALTERNATIVES TO
EUTHANASIA HAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED AND ARE
REALLY NOT AN OPTION, THEN WE'LL DO IT.

Though Felter denied trying to
kill Daisy Mae, evidence was presented
in court indicating Felter did try to
put the dog down herself.
She allegedly gave the dog two
dozen pain pills. She was even said to
be ready to use anti-freeze.
In a situation like that, Doctor
Karras says, it might be best if a
professional goes ahead and puts the
animal to sleep.
While the best interests of
clients and their patients occasionally
collide, an experienced veterinarian
can often glean more from the pet than
the person.

attractions in Virginia reported fewer
year-to-year visitors through Labor
Day.
State tourism leaders say the
full effect of Jamestown's anniversary
will be better understood over a period
of years, not just the last four months
or so.

Today Lewis apologized and issued
a statement..He said he was making a

production team and anyone who knows

The vintage steam locomotive was
pulled from the Virginia Museum of
Transportation around 7 o'clock, and
pushed to the East End Shops.
Norfolk Southern is celebrating
the 125th anniversary of the Roanoke
shops with a private event on Saturday,
and the museum is lending both the 611
and the 1218 for the occasion.
The museum moved the 611 about 25
feet several weeks ago, but director
Bev Fitzpatrick says he believes this
is the first time since the mid 90s
that the engine has actually taken a
trip like this outside the museum's
rail yard.
