parking rates in downtown Roanoke is
back on the table.

And while the city has made some
changes, downtown businesses say they
still have concerns.

being brought against the owner of a
Patrick County radio station.

A grand jury yesterday
indicted Jamie Clark.

He owns W-H-E-O Radio in
Stuart.

State Police say Clark
allowed high school- aged young people
to have sex at his home.

A search of Clark's home and the
radio station later found pornographic
video tapes and computer files.

solve a murder.

Police say Audrey Vincent, who's
79, was headed north on Route 501
yesterday afternoon, when her car ran

off the left shoulder of the road and
into the median where it hit a sign.

Vincent and her two passengers
... 78-year-old Franklin Vincent and
Susan Vincent, who's 47, all were
injured in the crash.

They are said to be in stable
condition at Lynchburg General.

last night, for a short trip to the
East End Shops.

Norfolk Southern is celebrating
the 125th anniversary of the Roanoke
Shops, and the museum agreed to lend
both the 611 and the 1218 for a private
event on Saturday.

Neither locomotive has operated
under its own power in more than ten
years.

When high school students headed
back to the classroom this year they
came back to block scheduling.

Instead of multiple-classes
running 45-minutes each, student have
four-classes 90-minutes a day.

Most students will have this
schedule until Christmas, At that
point- they'll earn their credits and
start four- NEW classes in January.

settled in across the region which will
mean a very dry week, with above
