but tonight Fleming makes it return to
the Group Three A ranks as a member of
the Western Valley to take on longtime
rival Franklin County in the Mount.

see if Ben Boyd's Eagles could slow
down the Colonels.
Just before half-time, Fleming's

Johnson Junior for this 31 yard scoring
strike and the Colonels light up the
scoreboard just before the break and
take a 19-to-nothing lead into the
lockeroom.
Early in the third, the Eagles
will try to make a game of it. Adolpho
Avael breaks one off good and proper
right up the middle from 15 yards out
and that cuts the Fleming lead to
19-to-7 early in the period.
Early in the fourth, with the
Colonels threatening to put the game
away Fleming's Mumford will have his
pass picked off by Avael at the goal
line, and the return will bring it out
to the 25 yard line.
With just over three minutes left
in the game, the Eagles had one last
shot to pull closer.

Glass would continue to be play
the role of gracious host as

rolls through the defense and gallops
50 yards for the score. Terriers take

Eagles.
Johnson will keep coming as he

straight week it's snowing in the Byrd
