involving a motorcycle in the town of
Christiansburg.

Police say it happened around 3:30 a.m.
at the intersection of North Franklin
Street and Cambria Street. A
preliminary investigation indicates the
motorcycle made contact with another
vehicle; however, the driver of the
other vehicle didn't stop at the scene.

The motorcycle driver was thrown from
the bike and was pronounced dead at
Montgomery Regional Hospital. The
victim's name has not yet been
released.

dead following an accident in the
southbound lane of Interstate 77 at
mile marker 24. That's near the I-81
interchange.

State police say at least one
person was killed in the three-vehicle
accident.

No traffic backups have been
reported.

Both southbound lanes had been
closed, but V-DOT says they have since
re-opened.

a rental car.

Sniffer dogs reportedly found blood in

a car hired by the McCann's FOUR WEEKS

after Madeleine's disappearance.

If the tape materializes.it will be the
first image of the terror chief in

nearly 3 years. In the last tape, his
beard was gray and he looked haggardbut

a still frame reportedly from the video
shows him with a dark beard. Analysts

say it is common for Arab leaders to
dye their beards.

Here in Washington, officials would not
confirm the existence of a tape, but

the Department of Homeland Security
says it has no credible information

warning of an imminent threat.
