personnel were on campus in the days
after the shootings.

April 16th so Tech held this reception
tonight in their honor.

Those recognized included
countless law enforcement agencies,
first responders, grief counselors,
relief organizations, even local
restaurants who donated food.

Virginia Tech says they couldn't
have gotten through this tragedy
without them.

determine if a man charged with
stealing a Jeep from a Blacksburg
dealership may be connected to Friday's
deadly hit and run in Christiansburg.

Anthony Adams of Floyd was
arrested Friday, although it wasn't
announced until today.

Investigators say the 47-year-old
stole a silver Jeep Rubicon from Duncan
Jeep Isuzu.

Friday According to a search warrant
filed last Friday- a similar Jeep with
a lot of damage was spotted at
Christiansburg gas station.

Investigators believed it was the

vehicle that crashed into a biker early
Friday morning.

22 year-old Gregory Jackson of
Christiansburg was killed in that
wreck.

Police say the driver took off.

No one has been charged with the
hit and run.

"best friend"...

were out last week training for bear
season.

White lost sight of the hound,
but eventually tracked her to an area
off of Fringer Trail in Buchanan.

Instead of coming when she was
called, Dixie was found shot in a

battle flag no longer has a home in

Virginia's Capitol.

Old House Chamber...

effort, historians discovered flags
were NOT an original fixture.

Because of that, the Speaker of

Before the Virginia Tech Season
began, there was still talk of Tyrod
Taylor Red-shirting this season.

Now the True freshman quarterback
is the Hokies' starter named so by
Frank Beamer. Taylor replaces Sean

Glennon.

Glennon had started 15 straight
games for Virginia Tech and according
to Beamer the move is not a poor
reflection on Glennon, just that Taylor
fits Tech's offensive personnel better
right now. Which reading between the
lines means he can make more plays with
his legs.

Taylor made his collegiate debut
late in the first half against LSU and
led Tech to their lone scoring drive of
the game. His stat line ended up with
44 rushing yards on nine carries,
including a 1-yard touchdown run, and
he completed 7-of-18 passes for 62
yards.
