<< Good evening, I'm meteorologist
Robin Reed in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. The high temperature today in
Roanoke was 72 and the low was 49.
Average mid-September highs are in the
upper 70s to near 80. That's what we're
looking at for much of the extended
forecast. High pressure will remain a
team player this week with very little
rain chances. Low temperatures will be
cool tonight, but moderate a bit more
as the week progresses into the low
60s. A few models are hinting of

isolated shower chances on Friday and
Saturday. At the moment, only 20%, so I
wouldn't cancel any weekend plans.

hard to believe that William Byrd

into his senior season.

And like most college students
his age - the finality of his college

world is becoming an eye opener.

JEFF HIGHFILL

Not so fast - before he hangs up

the helmet - Highfill has some
unfinished business on the field.

Bridgewater's run of five staight ODAC
titles was halted a season ago by W&L.

JEFF HIGHFILL

The Eagles have impressive in
their first three non-conference games
- and HIghfill has been virtually
flawless. He has completed 68 percent
of his passes and tossed 5 touchdowns,
and he's averaging over 6 yards a
carrry running the ball.

JEFF HIGHFILL

Highfill is the poster boy for
what's right at Bridgewater. Besides
his play on the field, he has a 3 point
95 Grade Point average as a Mathematics
major with a business minor.

JEFF HIGHFILL

Ultimately, he would like to defy
the logic and finish his career in
Salem this December in the 35th annual
Stagg Bowl.
