selection in the capital murder trial
of William Morva.

Montgomery Regional Hospital.
Police say he killed two people
while on the run.
The judge has found 16 potential
jurors and needs 8 more people.
Attorney's still have about 30

option to move this case.
Jury selection resumes this
morning at 8:30 am.

authorities say was a botched drug deal
near Ringgold in May.

parking lot of a mobile home business
off Route 58 on May 9th.
During a preliminary hearing
yesterday, a third victim -- who
survived the shootings -- said
23-year-old Marcus Davis and two other
suspects tried to rob the two men after
they met to buy drugs.
A judge certified the murder
charges to the grand jury.

fit to be play on this week.

Tuesday afternoon, as you can see most
of the turf has been laid down.
Workers are now busy stitching
the lines and numbers on the field.
This is all well and good
but remember this field was suppose to
be ready weeks ago.
As a result, two games, one from
Cave Spring, the other Hidden Valley,
had to be moved to other fields but
administrators are optimistic there
will be no more disruptions.

will dominate the forecast throughout
much of the week. This will translate
into generally clear skies both night
and day. Winds will become a bit more
southerly this week, with temperatures
sliding back to near 80. A low pressure
system off the Florida coast will move
northwest by Friday. At the moment it
looks like most of the showers and
storms will stay into the Carolinas,
but if the low deviates from the

bus in Carroll County left one driver
seriously injured.

The accident happened around 7:45
yesterday morning on Flower Gap Road.
The school bus and a sports
utiilty vehicle hit head-on in a curve,
less than a mile from St. Paul School.
The driver of the S-U-V, 35-
year- old Brian Shannon Mayes of Mount
Airy was airlifted to a hospital in
North Carolina.
The bus carried seven students,
an aide and the driver.
They were taken to a hospital as
a precaution, but none of them suffered
serious injuries.
State Police say they are still
investigating the cause of the
accident.

EVENT=HEALTHCHECK 7 BANNER up at a Campbell County high school,
now school authorities are taking
precautions to prevent any more cases.
MRSA is a type of staph infection
that's also known as a "superbug"
because of its resistance to
antibiotics.
The student is being treated and
is expected to return to school.
Superintendent George Nolley
(NALL-ee) says the school is following
all the recommendations of the health
department to prevent an outbreak.
The school also sent a letter home
yesterday to parents explaining the
situation.

Administrators in Roanoke County
say Bogle Field should be ready for
football this Friday.

This is how the field looked
Tuesday afternoon, as you can see most
of the turf has been laid down.
Workers are now busy stitching
the lines and numbers on the field.
This is all well and good
but remember this field was suppose to
be ready weeks ago.
As a result, two games, one from
Cave Spring, the other Hidden Valley,
had to be moved to other fields but
administrators are optimistic there
will be no more disruptions.

Center. A large ridge of high pressure
will dominate the forecast throughout
much of the week. This will translate
into generally clear skies both night
and day. Winds will become a bit more
southerly this week, with temperatures

system off the Florida coast will move
