our country.
A number of them have then
returned to campus to share their
experiences with the Corps of Cadets.

especially the family members of the
victims. Derrick McFlarland's widow,
Cindy burst into tears... friends threw
their arms around Eric Sutphin's
mother.
William Morva gave no reaction to the
news his trial would not be held in
Montgomery County. It's something his
lawyers have been fighting for, for
weeks. Defense Attorney Tony Anderson
cited extensive media coverage and said
a prospective juror said it best.

second day in a row for students at
Northside High.
That's after a construction
worker found asbestos in the Library.

yesterday while working on the school.
No one has been allowed back in
the building since.
An independent company is running
tests to see if the asbestos is
anywhere else in the school.
The school doesn't know if
students or staff have been exposed.

Northside...a confirmed case of
MRSA...News Seven was the first to tell
you about an outbreak of skin rashes at
Northside highschool last week....

a group of football players.
The school sent home letters
saying they were concerned it WAS MRSA
but later told News Seven that it
wasn't, just skin irritations...
That now has changed...tests
confirm that a student is in fact being
treated for MRSA.
And lockers rooms like

treatment after every use.
The school system
maintains there is not a health risk
for students.

their quiet, dead-end street into a
busy thoroughfare.

Neighbors are worried for their
children's safety if the road gets

temperature today in Roanoke was 80 and
the low was 53. Partly cloudy skies
seem to be a good bet tonight with
thinner clouds west of the Roanoke
Valley and thicker stratus clouds east
of the Blue Ridge. An onshore flow from
the southeast is helping to increase
low level moisture across the region.
While clouds will roam overhead Friday
(partly sunny) there could be sprinkles
or a light shower across far
southeastern sections of the NEWS7
viewing area (near South Boston). Highs
are forecast in the upper 70s Friday.
High pressure will keep skies mainly

Both know winter is around the corner
