will be moved out of Montgomery County

courtroom yesterday afternoon when he
decided to move the trial to another
part of the state.
70 people were questioned over the last
3 days.
45 of them were dismissed.
But what Judge Grubbs said troubled him
the most was that 22 of the 45 had
direct ties to the case.

links Michael Vick's Bad Newz Kennels
to a man who was murdered.. earlier
this year.

Roy "Bud" Melton was found shot
to death in his home in April.
Deputies also found evidence of a
dog fighting ring.
33-pitbulls were found at the home,
along with equipment and extensive
documents.
According to the CBS affiliate in
Charlotte- names of the dogs recovered
at Melton's home are consistent with
the dogs' names at Bad Newz Kennels.
The Sheriff's office says it's
investigating all possible leads, but
doesn't have anything that would lead
it to believe Bad Newz Kennels is
involved in the homicide.

their quiet, dead-end street into a
busy thoroughfare.

Neighbors are worried for their
children's safety if the road gets

concerns to VDOT, hoping to get the

Seven was first to tell you
about.....it turns out there is a case
of MRSA at Northside High School
afterall.

It began with an outbreak of skin
rashes at Northside Highschool last
week....affecting a group of football
players.
The Roanoke County School System
sent letters home, saying they were
concerned it WAS MRSA.
But later it told News Seven that it
wasn't MRSA -- it was just an
irritation...
That now has changed...tests
confirm that a student is in fact being
treated for MRSA, but the school system
maintains it is not a health risk for
other students.

An independent company is running

Terry Bradbery is charged with one
count.
His former assistant-- Michael

All three men have resigned or

also went on the safari and later

GRAPHIC=HOLD State Police say alcohol was a
factor in a fatal accident in Wythe
County.
It happened around 8:30 last
night on Route 52.
State Police say an SUV driven by
Stanley Joe Pickle from Bland County
ran off the road, struck an embankment
and overturned.
Pickle was ejected and died at the
scene.
He was 49-years-old.
He was reportedly not wearing a seat
belt.
Meanwhile, the accident is under
investigation.

courtroom yesterday afternoon when he
decided to move the trial to another
part of the state.
70 people were questioned over the last
3 days. 45 of them were dismissed. But
what Judge Grubbs said troubled him the
most was that 22 of the 45 had direct
ties to the case.
