The driver apparently suffered medical

Boy Scout troop has been found in the
mountains of North Carolina.

adults were reported missing yesterday
after they failed to return from a
weekend camping trip.
They'd apparently gotten lost last
night, but walked out of the woods this
morning.
A female searcher found them and
brought them to the local fire
department.
Several of the scouts had cell phones,
but service in the area
is spotty.

leasing five floors and has refused to

School this morning after last week's
asbestos scare.

and staff were never at risk of being

Even though the asbestos will

workers will begin the task of removing
some of asbestos after school this
week.

trying to bounce 177-thousand 737 times
on a pogo stick to break the world
record.
He's also raising money to fight a
disease called Scleroderma.
It's an immune system disease that
attacks the skin, and in serious cases,
can damage internal organs.
Guinness World Record rules allow
him to rest for five minutes per hour,
but he is stock- piling his minutes by
jumping for several hours at time.

shootings.

registered.
That's six thousand more that

The emergency alert system was
implemented shortly after the April
shootings and will notify students and
staff almost immediately on their cell

...two of the sport's icons, John Force
and Kenny Bernstein bernsteen wrecked
in a funny car race.
Bernstein nearly crossed the center
line, while Force lost control of his
machine which subsequently
disintegrated.
Bernstein was ok, while Force was
airlifted to the Baylor hospital.
The 58 year old was conscious and
alert, with a compound fracture of the
left ankle and a broken left wrist.
He also suffered a severe abrasion to
his right knee.

got a bit of a shakeup yesterday at
Dover, where the concrete Monster Mile
had the last word.

loose lugnut, and finished in the back
of the pack.
Tire issues were a problem
for points leader Jimmie Johnson, as
well.
JJ went two laps down following a
flat, and is now 4th in points.
Chaser Denny Hamlin didn't
endear himself to Kyle Petty, plowing
into the back of the 45 on the
straightaway to bring out the caution,
and sending Petty for a ride on the
merry go round.
Then in the garage, Petty, the
elder statesmen had some choice words
for Hamlin, the young buck.
Matt Kenseth led 191 laps, but
dropped a cylinder and then blew up
inside of 30 laps to go.
The red flag flew for this
melee with under 10 to go, and the race
was stopped for nearly 15 minutes.
In the end, Carl Edwards had
enough juice to win the race to the
checkered flag and move to third in
points, but his car failed the post-
race inspection.
Penalties are expected, though he
will retain the win, giving credit
where credit is due.
