and the Sunny Patch Children's Chairs
have been recalled. They were sold at
Target stores from August of 2006 to
August of 2007.
Five toys from the Thomas and
Friends Wooden Railway product line
have also been recalled. They were
sold from March of 2003 through
September 2007.
It's important to say these are
not the same Thomas toys that were
recalled back in June.

420,000 SUVs because of possible
corrosion in the tube where motorists
pump gas.
The recall involves Nissan
Pathfinder and Infiniti QX4 SUVs from
the 1997 to 2001 model years.
Toyota is recalling optional "all
weather" floor mats in 55-thousand
Lexus ES 350 and Toyota Camry passenger
cars.
Apparently, the mat could
move forward and trap the gas pedal,
causing the vehicle to accelerate
uncontrollably.

marijuana.

a dogfighting ring.

court.

Junior wants to build a new kennel on
61 acres he owns in the White Gate
community.
Last night, the Giles County
planning commission recommended the
board of supervisors deny his special
exception request.
Schmucker (SCHMYOO-KER) told
administrators he wants to move to be
closer to other Amish families.
This past March, one of
Schmucker's Dogwood Kennels burned and
about 200 dogs died.
More than 4-thousand people
signed an online petition against the
business.
Giles County Administrators have
received letters of concern from nearby
land owners about the request.

getting a team.
Officer Chad Custer has been
training since July.

record set back in 1998. The low was
66. Locally tonight, as temperatures
drop and the atmosphere becomes more
stable, shower chances will diminish. A
cold front is forecast to cross the
area Thursday, and will bring some
changes to the overall warm pattern.
Clouds will increase Thursday with a
few showers during the afternoon and
evening. Widespread rain won't be the
main feature along the front, as most
of the steady moisture stays north of
us. Once the front passes to the east,
expect rapid clearing for Friday and
the upcoming weekend, with cooler

biking 37-hundred miles for a better
chance of beating it.
All of their children have
neuroblastoma...it's a very aggressive
cancer and the survival rate is grim.
These fathers do have new hope..if they
can just raise enough money to pay for
a treatment that's in development.

dealing a major mess tonight involving
a cheating scandal involving more than
20 athletes.
Two athletic department academic
assistants at FSU have resigned and 23
Florida State University athletes have
been implicated in cheating on tests
given over the Internet. Apparently a
tutor sat with the athletes while they
took tests and supplied them correct
answers.
School officials say the athletes
represent nine sports and 17 of the
students are on scholarship or have
been at sme time. The students could
face punishment from the university and
the NCAA including the loss of
eligibility and scholarships, but due
to federal confidentiality restrictions
officials cannot identify the students

opened his luxury hotel and conference
center along the city's riverfront.

years, but Craddock says they've turned
the corner.
The first guests started checking
in ten days ago, and he believes the
hotel's problems are behind them.
