computer equipment from several
colleges up and down the East Coast.
What started out as a burglary at
Washington and Lee has now apparently
grown into a major burglary ring.

It was July that eight high-tech
computer projectors were stolen from W
and L.
Investigators determined the man
responsible for the crime was Curtis
White... a man who they say is shown
here taking equipment from another
school.. George Mason University.
Police say he and several other
people were also involved with other
robberies at various colleges.

sexually explicit videotape found in
Nevada.. The little girl---believed to
be four or five years old, is seen
being sexually assaulted.

TO THIS ABUSE"
Now police are trying to figure out who
this man is.....he's seen on the tape
molesting her. They want to talk to
34-year-old Chester Arthur Stiles.....
they call him a person of interest ....

ENFORCEMENT AND SOME HISTORY WITH SEX
CRIMES.
The tape was allegedly found by Darren
Tuck in the Nevada Desert near the town
of Pahrump. He turned it over to the
police......first he said he only had
it for four days but they say he was
lying. :

SHERIFF'S DEPT: "MR TUCK CONCEDED HE
HAD INDEED HAD IT SINCE MAY OF 2000,
BUT DID NOT TURN IT IN BECAUSE HE WAS
SCARED."
Tuck was arrested for possessing child
pornography....something that could
land him in prison for the rest of his
life. For now police just want to find
Stiles....and they hope that's the key
to unlocking the mystery of who and

And drinking too much alcohol appears
to increase that risk.

And what they found is that it's not
what you drink that matters...but how
much you drink.

a day increased that percentage to 30
percent.
While the study doesn't say
why...doctors do have a theory.

the 17th and 18th driest on record
respectively. Roanoke had 10 days of 90
degree (or higher) heat this month. The
record is 11 days in 1998 and 1954.

higher) heat this month. The record
there is 17 days in 1954. No more 90
degree days are expected this month. It
should be noted, the period of record
is only around a half century in
Roanoke, Danville and Blacksburg.
Lynchburg temperature records date back

Hokies contest.
This bank in Christiansburg took
several pictures today for the contest.
All you have to do is have a
picture taken of you on the job,
wearing maroon and orange.
Contest organizers are suggesting
casual Fridays... but they say Hokie
colors are appropriate anytime.
