been celebrating its 60th anniversary
season all year long.

In those six decades the track
has hosted more than its share of flat

For me one of the best was Tim
Richmond.

CHANNEL= B VO-NAT

*CG locator Martinsville

1986 In 1986, Richmond and his crew :00 chief Harry Hyde went on one heck of
tear for Hendrick Motorsports winning
seven races and making a legitimate run
for the Winston Cup Championship.

The Folgers' Chevrolet would
eventually finish third in the points
that season behind Darrell Waltrip and
eventual champ Dale Earnhardt.

Amazingly, its been 20 years
since Richmond died at the age of 34
after contracted the HIV virus.

Richmond wasn't that great of a
Martinsville racer, but he was
certainly one of the best ever when it
came to describing it.

VO-NAT British scientists say they've

invented "Clean gum"-- a gum, which
unlike all the rest, doesn't make a
mess.

The research team also tested the
gum on one of the trickiest, stickiest
surfaces...Hair and they say it came
out.

The best part is..it doesn't
taste any different from the regular
chewing gum.

The new clean gum is said to hit
the British market early next year.
