George Franklin Kincaid.

He left the adult home on
Saturday and has not returned.

He was last seen wearing jeans
and no shirt, he's 5-9, 140 pounds,
with brown hair and a gray mustache.

Kincaid suffers from dementia and
is on medication.

nearly 18-months after his death.

Thompson was shot and killed in May of
2006.

Police say the house was the site
of a "nip-joint," a place where alcohol
is served illegally.

Thompson family is celebrating - but
also remembering - a life cut short.

The life of a fun loving person
named they call TJ.

A YEAR AND FIVE MONTHS, BUT WE JUST
WANTED TO LET HIM KNOW THAT WE STILL
REMEMBER HIM." 41:59

DONNA THOMPSON: 7:19:15 "HE'S
NEVER GOING TO BE FORGOTTEN, HE WILL
ALWAYS BE HERE WITH US, NO MATTER
WHAT." 7:19:19.

While his family hasn't
forgotten, they're worried everyone
else has, including police.

That's why they held this vigil
-- to bring awareness to the case - and
hopefully, bring the person responsible
to justice.

7:20:10 "Why, why did it have to
happen? That's a question we don't
know. That the million dollar
question."

SHANNON THOMPSON: 45:41 "They
shouldn't have had to take his life the
way they did. They took a cousin, a
brother, just a loving person away from
us." 45:50

They're also trying to bring
awareness to violent crimes like the
one that killed TJ, so that his death
wasn't in vain.

happens all over, everywhere, not just

here."

One by one, his family and
friends light a candle in TJ's memory.

Leaving them on the very spot
where he died last May.

They'll continue to wear these
t-shirts as a message to TJ

"Rest in peace, we'll see him at
the crossroads."

STANDUP - The family tells us
that police haven't been actively
investigating this case, but they're
hoping that by getting TJ's name back
in the spotlight, someone will
eventually come forward with the
answers they've been looking for.

in Iraq.

According to the Department of
Defense -Specialist David Lambert of
Cedar Bluff died in Baghdad Friday.

Lambert reportedly died from
wounds sustained from an improvised
explosive device.

He was a member of the Virginia
National Guard.

for the park's Chuckwagon barbecue.

"Chuckwagons" were a popular
social gathering in this part of
Virginia back in the 1700's.

Volunteers served up a full

spread of country favorites from pork
barbecue to homemade cole slaw.

This is Explore Park's last major
event of the year - and possibly the
last event *ever* since the park may
end up closing for good.

made toys.

The school ended up with several
trashbags full of items tainted with
lead.

nearly every corner.

There are nearly 150-companies
that have partnered with the Susan G.
Komen For the Cure to help raise
awareness and money for research.

Last year the organization's
''cause marketing program" raised about

plans to make some major changes over
the next three to five years...with
three new galleries.

The Healthy Bodies Gallery will

Rain was a welcome sight for
those battling the Grass Valley Fire in
California's San Bernardino Mountains
Saturday.

The fire is now 85 percent
contained.

The wildfire is burning northwest
of Lake Arrowhead and has scorched over
11-hundred acres.

Fire officials say 162-homes have
been destroyed and 20 others damaged.

Firefighters hope to have the
Grass Valley Fire fully contained later
today.

Thick fog has been blanketing
Beijing, reducing visibility to
virtually zero and delaying flights
throughout northeastern China.

But, the fog has started to lift.

The conditions have underlined a
warning from the International Olympic
Committee that some sporting events at
next year's Summer Games in Beijing may
have to be rescheduled due to poor air
quality.

Vehicles and coal-powered boilers
contribute to the amount of particulate
matter in the air, as does dust from
the numerous construction sites around
the city.

Officials say 15 people have been

sky was falling last night in New York.

Lower Manhattan began falling off.

The building was vacant.

Police say no one was injured.

Most of the rear part of the
six-story building was left in ruins,
but the front facade fa-sade was still
standing.

Surrounding streets were blocked
off as crews cleaned up the area.

No word yet on a possible cause.

Cassell will soon report to prison.

prison in Northeastern Pennsylvania
Tuesday.

There- he'll serve an eight-month
term.

Under a plea agreement, Cassell
pleaded guilty in May to one count of
making false statements to federal
investigators.

Prosecutors dropped four-other
charges.

At his sentencing last month, a

judge also fined Cassell 15-thousand
dollars and placed him on two years
probation following his release.

chance to find new homes for the dogs
seized from NFL quarterback Michael
Vick's dogfighting operation.

VO-NAT An animal law expert and the

dogs' court-appointed guardian, made an
application form available Friday.

It's the latest step in the
process of overseeing the placement or
euthanasia of 48 dogs from Vick's Bad
Newz Kennels operation.

The animals have been held in

shelters in Virginia since April, when
they were seized in a raid on Vick's
property.

According to a court order in the
case, only established rescue groups
will be eligible to take custody of the
dogs.

Six teams competed in the "iron
horse pull" in downtown Roanoke, and it
took 10 people to accomplish the task.

They had to pull this train and
the goal was to move it ten-feet.

Each team had three tries and
they ended up moving this huge
locomotive about 4 feet.

The winning team was a
fraternity, Theta Chi from Radford
University.

A lot of hard work, but more than
3 thousand dollars was raised for
Special Olympics and the Virginia
Museum of Transportation.
