(R) State Senate Candidate
(D) State Senate Candidate JEFF EVANS/(R) STATE SENATE CANDIDATE;
:38 BASICALLY THE WAY I COULD PUT THAT IS:
I'M A BAPTIST AND I HAVE RESPECT FOR
EVERY PERSON NO MATTER WHAT THEIR
RELIGION. I RESPECT THEIR RIGHT, THEIR
GOD-GIVEN RIGHT, TO CHOOSE IN AMERICA
WHATEVER THEIR RELIGIOUS PREFERENCE
MIGHT BE. AND IF INVITED TO THEIR
SERVICE, AS I HAVE BEEN THROUGHOUT THIS
CAMPAIGN, I WILL BE HAPPY TO ATTEND AND
SHOW RESPECT TO THEM. I MAY NOT AGREE
WITH THEM AND THERE'S A LOT OF
DIFFERENT BELIEFS THAT I DO NOT AGREE
WITH. BUT THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH
US BEING VIRGINIANS AND LIVING TOGETHER
AND ACCEPTING WHAT WE ARE.
SEN. ROSCOE REYNOLDS/(D) STATE SENATE
CANDIDATE; THE ANSWER TO THAT IS YES.
I BELIEVE WE SHOULD BE RESPECTFUL OF
OTHER PEOPLE'S RELIGIONS. ONE OF THE
HIGHLIGHTS FOR EACH DAY WHEN THE
VIRGINIA SENATE IS IN SESSION IS THAT
WE HAVE PRAYER. AND WE HAVE PRAYER
FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE CHRISTIANS,
MUSLIMS, AND OTHER RELIGIONS, JEWISH
PRAYERS. IT IS A HIGHLIGHT TO ME OF
THE SESSION EACH DAY. AND THE DIVERSITY
OF THOSE PRAYERS I THINK REFLECTS THE
DIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA. I HAVE NO

AND FREEDOM TO WORSHIP AS THEY SEE FIT.
