She also uncovered something
called the sleeper effect.

Even if a person is initially
turned off by an ad...four to six weeks
down the line....they disassociate the
source of the message from it's

<< Good evening, I'm Meteorologist
Robin Reed in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. Get ready for one more frosty
night. With clear skies and light
winds, we'll see good cooling, leading
to chilly overnight lows. The growing
season has ended for most areas this
week. The exception is Halifax and
South Boston, where a Frost Advisory
has been issued for late tonight and
early Wednesday. Since the air is dry,
temperatures will quickly shoot into
the 60s and low 70s during the
afternoon. Trick-or-treaters will enjoy
a dry forecast Wednesday night. While
cool, temperatures won't drop quite as
much as the past several nights. A cold
front will approach the area from the
west on Thursday, bringing a few clouds
to the region. Some light sprinkles are
possible along the western slopes.
Another front will try to approach over

the weekend, with little success. The
air is just too dry and high pressure
too strong to make any drastic changes
to the overall pattern. TUESDAY NIGHT:
Clear and chilly. Low: 36...WEDNESDAY:
Mostly sunny and pleasant. High:
70...WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear. Not

nryan@wdbj7.com Phone lines at the state health
department are lit up, because so many
schools are reacting differently to
reports of MRSA.

Experts say extra cleaning does
more to ease people's minds, than
prevent MRSA.

They say regular daily cleaning
that schools do anyway is sufficient.

Dr. Novak says our best line of
defense against MRSA is personal
hygiene. People should wash their

Every patient who walks through
the doors of Loyola University Medical

The screening is one way of
strengthening a hospital's defense
against staph infections.

Loyola isn't the first to do
this.

Evanston Northwestern Healthcare
in Illinois began universal screening
in 2005.

After one year, infection rates
dropped 60 percent.

TNT-NBA The NBA season opened tonight as :00 Tim Duncan and the rest of last
season's champion San Antonio Spurs
raised another banner and picked up

They then went out and tried to
ring up an opening night victory.
Besides all of the normal contributors
- seven footer Francisco Elson hopes to
make an immpact for the team this
season.

Portland was trying to spoil the
night in San Antonio and former
Maryland Terrapin Steve Blake certainly
did his part.

The Spurs get the 106 to 97 win

E.C. Glass vs. Franklin Co. The Eagles of Franklin County :00 took on the E.C. Glass Hilltoppers in

this final our matchup. These two tied
for second place in the district behind
Patrick Henry and split their two
regular season meetings.

This one was competitive from the
start. Watch Glass settle the serve
and let Erin McIntyre set the table for
the high flying Meg Kenny who plants on
in the floor with the powerful spike.

But if that one was powerful,
this one was turbo charged. The Eagles
Lindsey Campbell will get the nice set
on the left side to five-ten Kaitlin
Whitmer, who just crushes one with the
right hand.

Coach Amil Davis would like that
and she would see even more high flying
action from her Eagles as six-foot
senior Brandy Preston plays the net to
perfection to finesses one in the gap. *CG final E.C. Glass
