GRAPHIC=ACC Welcome everyone to your Tuesday

Ticker.

It has been 5 days since Virginia
Tech played a football game.

But it uncertain if that's enough
time for fans to dry out and secondly,
get rid of the hangover Boston College
inflicted on them.

Grant Kittelson checks the team's
mental state to see if the Eagles are
really in the rear view mirror.

GRAPHIC=NFL Monday night football often end

so late most folks don't know the end
result until they get up the next
morning.

Last night's overtime showdown
between the Broncos and Packers
featured one of the NFL's top plays of
the season to date.

Last Night-ESPN With the score tied at 13-all. :00 Brett Favre used a little play action
on first down to slow down the rush.

He then settled his feet and whipped
one down the left sideline to Greg
Jennings who had gotten behind the
man-to-man coverage from former Tarheel
Dre Bly.

Jennings hauled in the 82
touchdown pass to give the Packers a
19-to-13 win and Grett Favre continues
to defy the odds and his critics.

The people of Davenport Iowa

wondered what to do with their
680-pound pumpkin. No big pumpkin pie
or huge jack-0-lantern.. instead look
what they did.

They got a crane and dropped the
giant gourd about 100 feet into a
cauldron of blood.

O-K, it wasn't real blood--just
water dyed red--but you get the idea.

A Davenport radio station decided
this would be a good way to get people
in the Halloween spirit.
