says he died Tuesday.
Funeral arrangements are not yet
complete.
The Martinsville Bulletin reports
on-line that Jenkins was riding in a
Bradley fighting vehicle that ran over
an IED. The family learned of his death
Wednesday afternoon. Jenkins' myspace
site says he is a 2004 graduate of
Magna Vista High School.
He had been in Iraq for just about two
weeks after being home on leave,
according to family members.

busted a roving gang that's been
jumping people.
Officers say it's been
happening over the past several weeks
in an area on the east side of Radford
University.
Over the weekend police
arrested seven men who were attacking a
person. Most of the suspects are from
the Galax area.
Radford City Police are

victim or anyone with information to
contact them.

16 thousand sets of Elite Operations
Action Figures sold at Toys R Us since
July.
They also contain lead paint.
Both sets of toys were made in
China.
The C-P-S-C says parents should take
these toys away from their children and

The director of the facility says
they have waste screening procedures in

here.

front will race toward the coast
tonight with skies turning mostly
clear. Breezes will diminish a bit,
with a northwest wind overnight around
10-15mph. Temperatures will be much
cooler by Friday morning, with lows
forecast around the middle 30s. Expect

bid took a real step forward today, as
he filed papers to get on the South
Carolina ballot as a Democrat.
His campaign paid a $2,500 filing fee
just before the noon deadline.

to decide whether to take him
