Authorities say Daryn Beck went
outside to move a friends car when she
apparently backed into Michael Scott
Gusler.

Witnesses say the two exchanged
words but then Gusler got back in his
car and hit the woman - she fell to the
ground.

Police say witnesses then
surrounded Gusler's car...that's when
he ran over someone else's foot and
then ran over the woman - for a second
time - while she was still on the

ground.

Police eventually caught up with
Gusler who by this time had left the
scene.

He was arrested.

GRAPHIC= POLICE CHASE What started as a routine

"sobriety" check... turned into a
high-speed police chase Friday night.

Authorities say the driver of a
pick-up truck took off... after being
"asked" to pull over in Pulaski.

At one point, the pursuit reached
speeds of about 100 miles per hour on
I- 81.

Eventually, the car chase ended
when the man ran over several spike
strips... but then the guy took off on
foot.

Not for long though, police
arrested Keith Smith, he's from
Roanoke.

The 27-year-old is facing
multiple charges.

Police are also checking into
whether the truck he was driving was
stolen.

NO SUPER! the "time change" came a little LATER
this year because of new legislation to
extended..."day light saving time"...
by a month.

It began three weeks earlier than
usual in March... and was extended by
"one week" to end in November.

The time change is to save energy
by giving people more daylight in the
evening...so they don't have to turn on
their lights.

< Webb in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. I hope you're having agreat
weekend! Look for mostly clear skies
tonight with winds staying up from the
northwest. Some gusts may approach
25mph overnight. Low temperatures will
be chilly in the mid and upper 30s.
Remember to set your clocks back one
hour before going to bed Saturday night
as Standard Time returns.

Sunday looks like a fairly quiet day
with mostly sunny skies. Some energy

will cross the area in the mid
afternoon, generating some clouds and
helping to drive in cooler
temperatures. Highs are forecast near
60 Sunday. Winds won't be as busy.

Highs Monday warm up to around 70 -
much warmer - just ahead of our next
cold front. Enjoy the warmth while it
lasts, because behind the front,
Tuesday will get sharply colder. Monday
calls for mostly sunny skies, with
increasing clouds Monday evening.

There's a 30% chance of light showers
Tuesday morning, then expect a breezy
and cooler day with decreasing
cloudiness. Highs Tuesday are expected
only around 50! Much colder! Right now,
it looks like the timing of the colder
air will be right to see a few snow
showers in the Greenbrier Valley of
West Virginia and the Highlands
throughout Tuesday. The western facing
slopes of the mountains will have the
best opportunity to see this activity.

The rest of the week will be dry with
partly cloudy conditions, and while
temperatures will slowly moderate
through the period, we'll still remain
well below average.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, chilly
and breezy. Low: 38

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and cooler. High:

away from the Super Bowl, but
tomorrow's game between the Colts and
the Patriots definitely has the feel of
a game of that magnitude.

The NFL's only two unbeatens -
Indianapolis and New England butt heads
tomorrow afternoon as Tom Brady takes
on Peyton Manning - two Pro Bowl

showing some love to the bumper of Mike

Later, it's Sam Hornish Junior
spinning out as he continues to make
the transition to stock cars. That
would bring out another yellow less

than 20 laps in.

Kevin Harvick had no trouble
driving to victory lane for his 6th win
this season. But Carl Edwards also
celebrated clinching a series title
