They didn't hear much. Citing
privacy concerns, administrators
refused to discuss the symptoms
students have been experiencing.

This afternoon, students at Rocky
Mount Elementary handed over more than
two thousand dollars for a project
called "Pennies for Playground."
The new playground is a
community- wide project spearheaded by
the Rotary Club.
When it's finished, the 65
thousand dollar fun center will be the
first- ever playground in the county
specifically designed to include
disabled children...though it's not
just for them.
It should be completed early next
year in front of Rocky Mount Elementary
School.

Area teams played their district

Galax tried to combat that height
with some heart as five-six Arianna
Sexton will battle on the net and walk
the line to perfection with this spike.
But as expected Glenvar just had

Kelley Knoebel, the talented senior,
who is a three sports star at Glenvar
takes advantage of a perfect set for
fellow senior Ashley Owen to makes her

Seminoles will come into Lane Stadium
for the first time since 1989.
In fact, the Hokies last win over
the Seminoles was way back in 1975.
Jimmy Sharpe was coaching the Hokies,
but Bowden was a year away from taking
over the Seminoles.
Saturday's game kicks-off at 3:30
in Blacskburg. It is a complete
sellout and the Hokies are favored by
six and a half in the early line out of
Las Vegas.
