WEATHER BUG

< Hirsbrunner in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. Just ahead of a strong cold
front pushing through the central
Plains, we'll see a nice warming trend
with highs in the mid and upper 60s.
Winds will turn breezy from the
southwest. Some gusts will be around
25mph. Skies will be mostly sunny as we
start the week. Clouds gather Monday
night and early Tuesday morning as the
front quickly crosses the area. A few
light showers are possible, however,
most of these will stay west of the
Roanoke Valley. Once the front passes
to the east early Tuesday morning,
we'll see clearing skies, but that's
when the real fun begins! Winds will
increase from the northwest during the
day Tuesday with highs only in the low

50s. Gusts will be near 25-35mph. We'll
stay mostly clear to partly cloudy for
the rest of the week with temperatures
below average.

NOTE: A few snow showers are possible
Tuesday morning and Tuesday night in
the Highlands and the Greenbrier Valley
of West Virginia. The relatively warm
ground will prevent much accumulation.

MONDAY: Sunny, breezy and warmer. High:
68

MONDAY NIGHT: A few showers, not as
cool. Breezy. Low: 41

TUESDAY: Turning sunny and windy. Much
cooler. High: 53
