To mark Veterans Day, Stuart
native Darrell Bowling and his wife
Rita joined Attorney General Bob
McDonnell at the Wall of Honor in
Richmond.


Bowling's son, Corporal Jonathan
Bowling was killed in an enemy ambush
in Al-anbar Province, Iraq nearly two
ago.


Jonathan's love of Virginia
inspired the wall- which was dedicated
last spring.


Bowling told the crowd that
gathered this morning-- Americans have


an obligation to honor veterans.

chasing down a runaway kangaroo...

The Eastern Grey kangaroo skipped
town, and apparently got lost on the
streets of Melbourne.


The pursuit began like any other--
with authorities shutting down area
streets as the animal ran rampant.


A young boy caught up in the drama
was knocked down by the hopping
kangaroo, and was lucky not to be
seriously injured.


The kangaroo's powerful claws also
tore a policeman's shirt to shreds, but
still, the chase continued.

For six straight years, Cindy Harris
has been faster than any other women
running up the nation's tallest
building.


And yesterday, the 38- year- old was
again crowned the winner of the women's
division at the Sears Tower stair run
race.


Harris finished the race from the
lobby to the Sears Tower Skydeck in 15


minutes and one second.


24-year-old Eric Leninger of Geneva
won the men's race, by finishing up in
13 minutes and 42 seconds.


Besides offering bragging rights, the
race raises money for cancer research..
