guns stolen in broad daylight yesterday
from a gunshop in Collinsville.
Now investigators are trying to
determine if another attempted robbery
yesterday is related.

old Clinton Eric Burke around midnight.
He was at his mother's home in
the Gladsboro section of the county.

A third teen was wounded.
The Sheriff has not released a
motive for the killings but says the

fourth wife says his wife ran off with
another man.

no plans to look for his wife Stacy
because he believes she was having an
affair.
Stacy Peterson hasn't been seen
since October 28th.
Yesterday the body of Peterson's
third wife, Kathleen Savio, was exhumed
in Illinois.
Investigators now say there is
evidence that suggests that someone
killed Savio and tried to make it look
like an accident.

He made the cut to help offset
the state's budget shortfall.

support five abstinence- only programs
across the state - including one in
Lynchburg.
The groups go into schools and
supplement the the state's sex
education curriculum with abstinence-

got pregnant.
Doctor David Suttle with the
state's Family Health Services put the
program on the chopping block.
He says the federal grant was
unstable and too restrictive.

high school athletes all across the
nation - and locally no school turned
out the athletes like Floyd County did
today.
The county is known for its
music and mountain beauty.
But lately, it has produced
plenty of star athletes as well.
Travis Wells has more on a
quintet of signatures that made signing
day so special for the Buffaloes.

Five of those signed papers on
Wednesday morning to continue their
respective athletic and academic
careers at the next level.
Jessica Hollandsworth and Michael Wade
will compete at the Division One Level
in golf--Hollandsworth at Maryland and
Wade at nearby Radford University.
Lindsey Thompson will also go
D1--hooping it up at UNC-Asheville,
while Brian Cox and Matthew Poff will
take their golf games to Tusculum
College in Greeneville, Tennessee.
