start twitching.

the mother of a girl experiencing the

is consistent with a social phenomenon
that suggests a physical illness but
lacks an identified cause... "
The release goes onto say that
*STRESS* possibly played a role in the
illness.
The health department says the

of the illnesses were motivated by
"sociogenic" or social influences.

Michael Vick has a new home--- far away
from the football field he loves.
He s now behind bars.

The Atlanta Falcons quarterback
voluntarily surrendered to federal
marshals in Virginia Monday to begin
serving time on a dogfighting
conspiracy charge . A court document
says Vick anticipated prison time, so
he turned himself in three weeks early.

As a result, he'll avoid another
chaotic scene like this one - one
played out both times Vick appeared in
court ..
This was the document he signed in
August, admitting his part in a
dogfighting operation called Bad News
Kennelz which was headquartered at Vick
s Virginia home. Three co-defendants
also pleaded guilty. Vick spoke out
after entering his plea.

oil, now at close to 95-dollars a

a deadly accident that killed a woman
Sunday afternoon.

Lewis was the passenger in an S-U-V hit
by a car at the intersection of
Troutland Avenue and Old Stevens Road.
Lewis died at Carilion
Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was 26.

Police say no charges have
been filed so far.

win the Virginia- Christmas- Tree-
Growers- Association's tree competition
for six- years.
This year the Giles County
native's work paid off.
He presented First Lady Anne
Holton with an 11- foot Frasir Fir
Christmas tree today.
It'll be displayed inside the
governor's mansion in the ballroom.
Sue Huffman... no relation to
David.... won the wreath- making
competition.... marking the Craig
County native's eighth state- wide win.

teams LU has produced in the Carey
Green era - no Liberty team has ever
been able to beat the Hokies in women's
hoops.

how platelets save lives...just ask
about her 3 year old son.

Michelle Abbot was the guest
speaker at a donor appreciation dinner.
Her son Shane had a congenital birth
defect and needed platelets eleven
separate times right after he was born.
The American Red Cross wanted to
recognize nearly 50 donors for giving
the "max" 24 times per year. So they
held a dinner at the Roanoke Civic
Center.
These donors help the Red
Cross collect around 12000 units of
platelets annually.
