the mysterious twitching by some
students at William Byrd High School

was most likely caused by stress.

Byrd to date are consistent with an
illness that cannot be explained by any
neurological disorder or environmental
toxin.

However, officials believe the
symptoms experienced by those involved
are real.

School administrators say the
health department's findings prove the
school is safe.

Michael Vick has a new home--- far away

from the football field he loves.

He s now behind bars.

The Atlanta Falcons quarterback
voluntarily surrendered to federal
marshals in Virginia Monday to begin
serving time on a dogfighting
conspiracy charge . A court document
says Vick anticipated prison time, so

he turned himself in three weeks early.

As a result, he'll avoid another
chaotic scene like this one - one
played out both times Vick appeared in
court ..

This was the document he signed in
August, admitting his part in a
dogfighting operation called Bad News
Kennelz which was headquartered at Vick
s Virginia home. Three co-defendants
also pleaded guilty. Vick spoke out
after entering his plea.

I take full responsibility for my
actions. I m not going to sit up here
and try to blame anyone for my actions.

Those actions could result in a
sentence of up to five years. Until
then, he ll spend his days at a
regional jail in northern Virginia.

for a suspect in a robbery.

It happened around 8:40 last
night at the Berryman Market on
Berryman Avenue.

Authorities say a man wearing a
hood and with his face covered, entered
the store displaying a handgun and
demanding money from the registers.

He got away on foot with an
undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured.

Federal authorities are putting
Blackwater USA in their sights.

Published reports indicate prosecutors
have convened a grand jury and issued

supoenas to some of the company's
guards involved in a September 16th
Baghdad

shooting that left 17 civilians dead.

translator SEPTEMBER 2007): "WE WILL
NOT

TOLERATE THE KILLING OF OUR CITIZENS IN
COLD BLOOD BY A COMPANY WHICH PLACES

NO VALUE ON THE LIVES OF IRAQI
CITIZENS."

An outraged Iraqi government DEMANDED
Blackwater be kicked out of the country

and conducted their own inquiry,
calling the killings deliberate.

F-B-I investigators - starting weeks
after the incident - concluded the

killing of 14 of the 17 civilians was
unjustified, finding NO evidence to

support Blackwater's claims its convoy
came under fire.

The U-S military has brought numerous
charges against servicemen in Iraq -

including dozens accused of murder -
but no case has ever been brought
against

a security contractor.

The issue of what laws - IF ANY - apply
to the hired guns remains unclear. A

State department report last month
urged more -QUOTE- "legal clarity" and
said

it was unaware of any basis for holding
private guards accountable under U-S

law.

But the creation of the grand jury may
indicate the government, after years of

reports of contractors' itchy trigger
fingers and heavy-handed tactics, is

serious about getting a tighter hold on
the industry.

a deadly accident that killed a woman.

Sunday Police say Jennifer Lannel
Lewis was the passenger in an S-U-V hit
by a car at the intersection of
Troutland Avenue and Old Stevens Road
Sunday afternoon.

Lewis died at Carilion
Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was 26.

A woman that knows all about how
platelets save lives...just ask her 3
year old son.

Michelle Abbot was the guest
speaker at a donor appreciation dinner.

Her son Shane had a congenital
birth defect and needed platelets
eleven separate times right after he
was born.

"sociogenic" or social influences.

the mysterious twitching by some
students at William Byrd High School
was most likely caused by stress.

neurological disorder or environmental

However, officials believe the

August The Atlanta Falcons quarterback
voluntarily turned himself over to U-S
marshals in Richmond shortly before
noon yesterday.

He's being held at the Northern
Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia.

Vick has not been sentenced for
his guilty plea to a federal dog
fighting charge.

That is supposed to happen on
December 10th.

Vick's Attorney says his
surrender demonstrates Vick's
willingness to accept responsibility
for his actions.

He faces up to 5 years in prison
and still has state charges pending
against him.

for a suspect in a robbery.

It happened around 8:40 last
night at the Berryman Market on
Berryman Avenue.

Authorities say a man wearing a
hood and with his face covered, entered
the store displaying a handgun and
demanding money from the registers.

He got away on foot with an
undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured.

Federal authorities are putting
Blackwater USA in their sights.

Published reports indicate prosecutors
have convened a grand jury and issued

supoenas to some of the company's
guards involved in a September 16th

Baghdad

shooting that left 17 civilians dead.

COLD BLOOD BY A COMPANY WHICH PLACES

NO VALUE ON THE LIVES OF IRAQI

An outraged Iraqi government DEMANDED
Blackwater be kicked out of the country

and conducted their own inquiry,
calling the killings deliberate.

F-B-I investigators - starting weeks
after the incident - concluded the

killing of 14 of the 17 civilians was
unjustified, finding NO evidence to

support Blackwater's claims its convoy
came under fire.

The U-S military has brought numerous
charges against servicemen in Iraq -

including dozens accused of murder -
but no case has ever been brought

against

a security contractor.

The issue of what laws - IF ANY - apply
to the hired guns remains unclear. A

State department report last month
urged more -QUOTE- "legal clarity" and
said

it was unaware of any basis for holding
private guards accountable under U-S

law.

But the creation of the grand jury may
indicate the government, after years of

reports of contractors' itchy trigger
fingers and heavy-handed tactics, is

serious about getting a tighter hold on
the industry.

A woman that knows all about how
platelets save lives...just ask her 3
year old son.

Michelle Abbot was the guest
speaker at a donor appreciation dinner.

Her son Shane had a congenital
birth defect and needed platelets
eleven separate times right after he
was born.

The American Red Cross wanted to
recognize nearly 50 donors for giving
the "max" 24 times per year. So they
held a dinner at the Roanoke Civic
Center.

name of a woman involved in a fatal
accident over the weekend.

Police say Jennifer Lannel
Lewis was the passenger in an S-U-V

Police in Danville are looking
for a suspect in a robbery.

They say a man wearing a hood
and with his face covered, entered the
Berryman Market last night. He
displayed a handgun and demanded money
from the registers.

The Health Department believes
the mysterious twitching by some
students at William Byrd High School
was most likely caused by stress.

Officials say all the test results at
Byrd to date are consistent with an
illness that cannot be explained by any
neurological disorder or environmental
toxin.

However, officials believe the
symptoms experienced by those involved
are real.
