New York.

were seriously injured in the crash.
Early and Sutherland both play
basketball for Lynchburg college.

confidential file on the late Reverend
Jerry Falwell.

- the F-B-I file is mostly about the
numerous death threats Falwell received
because of his views on homosexuality.
There is no evidence that anyone
ever actually tried to harm the
Reverend, but in 1983 a package was
sent to Falwell containing a live
scorpion.
There were also calls to Liberty
University threatening a 10-thousand
dollar reward for Falwell's
assassination.
Jerry Falwell died in May at age
73.

authorities released that infamous
surveillance video of a gun shop
robbery in Henry County.

capture the two men who robbed the
Southern Gunshop in Collinsillve last
Tuesday afternoon.
The gunmen took nearly 75 firearms
and handcuffed the clerk--all of which
was captured on surveillance video.
Investigators say it's been
invaluable and they wish more
businesses would use digital cameras.

forced open the window of a home on 8th
street in the city.
The burglar took a laptop

they've solved a four month old murder
case.

afternoon, Sheriff Lane Perry announced
an arrest in the murder of 74 year old
Willard Swanson Brown of Axton.
Investigators say the victim's
stepson 59 year old Dickie Lee Pulliam
shot him at least four times.
They're looking at robbery as a
possible motive.

double-standard for Roanoke Police
officers and someone needs to put an
end to it...
This comes after Commonwealth's
Attorney Don Caldwell said he won't
prosecute Officer Michael Hutton for a
summer accident.

August Hutton was going to a burglary
call when he hit Melvin David Todd.
Todd was crossing Lafayette
Boulevard.
He suffered several broken bones
Even though Hutton was traveling

safety.
But, Todd's family disagrees and
says Hutton should be held accountable.

taking extra steps to protect its
students from the staph infection MRSA.

At Lord Botetourt High School
once a week, the locker rooms are
fogged with a special solution that can
even kill the bacteria on clothing.
And another solution is sprayed
in the classroom.
This solution can kill germs on
contact and provide a barrier of
protection.
So far this year, the school has
only had ONE confirmed case of MRSA.
Administrators hope that's
because of their efforts.
They are also educating students
about protecting themselves through
posters around the school and having
handsanitizer available. .
Other schools in Botetourt County
have now followed suit.

Since last week, Ukrops in
Roanoke has sold about 42-thousand
pounds of turkey... that's the most of
any Ukrops store in the state.

Center. The warm weather won't last for
much longer. Clouds increase this
morning as we await a strong cold front
that will change things up a bit for
Thanksgiving Day. Showers (and an
isolated storm) will move in early
Thursday morning (around 7am) in the
west, and spread east around noon
Thursday. By late afternoon, the front
should be moving toward Richmond, with
winds increasing and temperatures
falling behind it. A high pressure
system will move back in Friday and
Saturday leading to mostly sunny skies,
but cold numbers as you head out
shopping. Lows will start in the 30s
during the morning and only reach the
upper 40s by the afternoon. Another low
pressure will develop and move into
Virginia Sunday and Monday, providing a
