are still getting good leads in that
gun shop robbery from last week.

capture the two men who robbed the
Southern Gunshop in Collinsville last
Tuesday afternoon.
The gunmen took nearly 75 firearms
and handcuffed the clerk--all of which
was captured on surveillance video.
Investigators say it's been
invaluable and they wish more
businesses would use digital cameras.

Jerry Falwell.

ever actually tried to harm the

dollar reward for Falwell's
assassination.
Jerry Falwell died in May at age

High winds in 1997 caused a balloon to
knock a lamppost into the crowd
injuring two women.
And two years ago two sisters were

Netherlands have arrested three young
men who had earlier been detained as
suspects in 18- year- old Natalee's
disappearance.
She was last seen leaving a bar in
Aruba with the three men... who are
now back in custody.
Their arrests are bringing new hope
for Natalee's family..

This comes after Commonwealth's
Attorney Don Caldwell said he won't
prosecute Officer Michael Hutton for a
summer accident.

call when he hit Melvin David Todd.
Todd was crossing Lafayette
Boulevard.
He suffered several broken bones
Even though Hutton was traveling
faster than the posted speed and

his job and wasn't disregarding public
safety.
But, Todd's family disagrees and
says Hutton should be held accountable.

In remarks to air Saturday for the
weekly democratic address, retired Army
Lieutenant General Ricardo Sanchez says
the sacrifices made by our troops have
NOT been matched by Iraqi leaders and
accuses the Maliki government of being

bill this month paying for combat
operations but attached the goal that
combat end by late next year.

Bush threatened to veto the measure,
and his republican colleagues in the
Senate blocked its passage.
Earlier this week, the Pentagon warned
they need funding....and fast.

case.

Thursday. By late afternoon, the front
should be moving toward Richmond, with
winds increasing and temperatures
falling behind it. A high pressure
system will move back in Friday and
Saturday leading to mostly sunny skies,
but cold numbers as you head out
shopping. Lows will start in the 30s
during the morning and only reach the
upper 40s by the afternoon. Another low

are still getting good leads in that
gun shop robbery from last week.

capture the two men who robbed the
Southern Gunshop in Collinsillve last
Tuesday afternoon.
The gunmen took nearly 75 firearms
and handcuffed the clerk--all of which
was captured on surveillance video.
Investigators say it's been
invaluable and they wish more
businesses would use digital cameras.

Jerry Falwell.

numerous death threats Falwell received
because of his views on homosexuality.
There is no evidence that anyone
ever actually tried to harm the
Reverend, but in 1983 a package was

University threatening a 10-thousand
dollar reward for Falwell's
assassination.
Jerry Falwell died in May at age

solved a four month old murder case.

During a press conference yesterday
afternoon, Henry County's Sheriff
announced an arrest in the murder of 74
year old Willard Swanson Brown of
Axton.
Investigators say the victim's
stepson 59 year old Dickie Lee Pulliam
shot him at least four times.
They're looking at robbery as a
possible motive.

VO-NAT Two area student athletes were
injured, after a single engine plane
crash in New York.
Sean Sutherland of Alexandria,
and Jason Early of Radner, Pennsylvania
were seriously injured in the crash.
Early and Sutherland both play
basketball for Lynchburg College. The
pilot, Brian Early, was killed. He was
Jason's father.

The Henry County Sheriff says the
office is still getting good leads in
that gun shop robbery from last week.
Lane Perry is confident they'll capture
the two men who robbed the Southern
Gunshop in Collinsville last Tuesday
afternoon.
The gunmen took nearly 75 firearms
and handcuffed the clerk--all of which
was captured on surveillance video.
