breaking holiday travel weekend has
wrapped up smoothly.

In Atlanta, rainy weather delayed some
incoming flights by more than two
hours, but airport officials there say
lines are moving.

There were also been minimal delays in
the New York area.

But in Los Angeles and Chicago, the

car...there were only a few minor
accidents reported in our area.

Though there was plenty of
congestion.

This section of I- 81 in Salem
was hectic and so was the interchange
at 5-81.

Drivers also came across a lot of
traffic in Rockbridge County and on
Interstate 77 near the North Carolina
border.

will sit down Tuesday for talks to
resolve the six-decade conflict between

Israel and the Palestinians.

But it's off to a rocky start. The two
sides came to Washington without

agreeing on basic terms for their
negotiations.

Still - with peace talks on hold for
seven years, just getting everyone to
the

table is an achievement.

"THE FACT THAT ON TUESDAY OVER 40

COUNTRIES ARE GOING TO SHOW THEIR OPEN
SUPPORT FOR THE ISRAELI-PALESTINIAN

The central issues remain the same: the
borders of a future Palestinian state,

the fate of displaced Palestinians, and
control of Jerusalem.

No one expects the 3-day conference to
solve everything. One major

concern....the Palestinians remain
bitterly divided.

With Hamas controlling the Gaza strip,
analysts question how much REAL

authority President Abbas has.

"A DIVIDED PALESTINIAN ENTITY IS NOT

to a rough start for a sheriff's
officer in Rockingham County.

He was dragged about 150 by a
driver that refused to stop.

detective was partially caught inside
the S-U-V.

The sheriff's office say the
detective suspected the driver,
Christoper Treece, was intoxicated
which is why he tried to pull him over.

In addition to assaulting an
officer, the 21-year-old is also facing
multiple charges including carrying
drugs.

The officer who stopped him is
expected to make a full recovery.
