already know they're going to have a
tough time tomorrow getting control of
a fire in Botetourt and Rockbridge

10-percent contained.
A couple hunters on North
Mountain spotted it yesterday morning.
The fire grew overnight and the
Virginia Department of Forestry says
it's burned about 150-acres.
In addition to the weather and

they say the GOOD news is no homes are
in danger.

Clarence Arville Edmonds was last
seen around noon today at his house on
Clover Lane near the Danville Airport.
The 85-year-old has dementia and
other medical conditions that require
daily medication.
Authorities believe Edmonds was

He's about 5 - 8, 160 pounds,
with brown eyes.

Officers were after a man on
Highway 56 when the guy hit another car
head on.
Police say the man was doing 90
miles an hour when he wrecked into the

10-year-old after the child took them
on a four mile chase through Charlotte
today.
Before the chase ended the boy
rammed into three police cars.
Authorities say they tasered him,

seat.
He's expected to be fine.

through the area Sunday night, the
winds will begin to howl! Scattered
showers will eventually taper off. Lows
are forecast in the low and mid 40s -
not as cool.
Monday is all about the wind! Gusts
from the Roanoke Valley westward could
top 50-55 mph. Even higher gusts are
possible in the upper elevations. Watch
for fallen tree limbs. Power outages
are also possible with such busy gusts.
Skies will be partly cloudy Monday with
some snow showers in West Virginia.
Monday night a few flurries are
possible with sharply colder
temperatures. Lows are forecast in the

flight as part of the Atlantis Mission
onboard the STS-122.
Along with six others, Melvin
will be helping to expand the science
capabilities of the International Space
Station.

astronaut, but says looking back, his
life in Lynchburg unknowingly led him
to his dream.

Bills today with heavy hearts as they
tried to honor the memory of their
teammate Sean Taylor who passed away
earlier in the week after being shot in
a robbery attempt.
