will skirt through West Virginia and

suspects involved in a home invasion
style robbery.

Three suspects broke in to a home

early this morning on Valley Road.

They demanded money from the
victims and fired a gun inside the
home, but one was hurt.

Police say it was 39-year old
Steve Matthew Beheler. His family

shooting, but they've reportedly said
he's "going to be okay."

young man walked into the Pawn Shop on
Williamson Road.

The suspect shot Beheler and ran
from the store, carrying firearms from
the shop's display.

another man who fled with him in a
white mini-van.

are still battling a forest fire in
Rockbridge and Botetourt Counties.

The Smith Flats Fire has
burned about 700 acres of private and
National Forest land a few miles from

wants four more years on Roanoke City
Council, but he won't be running for
mayor in 2008.

Lea ended speculation that he
would run for Mayor next year, saying

Roanoke was 43 and the low was 30. A
weak and fast-moving clipper will skirt
through West Virginia and parts of

Virginia Wednesday. This will provide
occasional snow showers, and a coating
on the ground for some. North and West
of Interstate 64: Coating to 3 inches
possible in the Highlands, including
Hot Springs, Covington and Low Moor.
Roanoke, Lynchburg and NRV: Mainly
occasional light snow showers in the
morning mixing with rain during the
afternoon. Any accumulating snow would
be less than 1/2". Thursday remains
dry, but a warm ridge will set-up by
the weekend. This will push
temperatures well into the 60s, and
block most storms from making it into
