looking into what caused a train and
truck to collide along some railroad
tracks off of Diuguids (doo-gits)
Lane.

According to Salem Police- the
truck driver was crossing the tracks
when the gates came down- trapping him
in the middle.
While the cab of the truck

Franklin County is accused of stealing
hundreds of dollars in tithes and
offerings.

The theft happened at Bright Star
Missionary Baptist Church in Rocky
Mount.
Court records show the money was
taken during a two year period starting
in January 2005.
Henrietta McHeimer was indicted
yesterday for embezzling more than a
thousand dollars, which is a felony.
The assistant treasurer of the
church says he noticed that money was
missing when he took over her position
this year. He eventually reported it
to the sheriff's office.

Jefferson College of Health Sciences
has doubled in the last five years.
And now they have something, many
other colleges can claim: a school
mascot.

Fleming High School Band helped kick
off spirit day at the college in
downtown Roanoke.
But the star of the pep rally was
a St. Bernard named Jeff.

After another warm day, some changes
are heading our way.Overnight, a strong
cold front approaches from the west.
Showers will move in ahead of the front
after midnight and continue off and on
through early Wednesday morning. The
morning commute should be cloudy with a
lingering shower. Skies will clear
Wednesday afternoon, with winds
increasing in the mountains.Cooler
weather will arrive behind the front

Redskins for the second time in his
life today.
And once again the reasons for
leaving are family related.
Gibbs and his wife Pat now have 7
grand kids and another one on the way
and one those three year old Taylor has
acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Despite being drawn to his family
at this stage in life - saying goodbye
to his Washington Redskins' family was
extremely tough for Joe Gibbs today.
As many of you know Gibbs is a
man of faith, but one with an amazing
passion to win.
During his newsconference today
he thanked everyone from management to
his maker.

Keydets held an Education Day at
Cameron Hall with local school kids on
hand.
And they certainly got to test
out their math skills adding up the
points the Keydets put up on Southern
Virginia.
