Webb in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. Expect mostly sunny skies this
afternoon. We'll be unseasonably mild
near 55, and breezy at times.

Wednesday night starts mostly clear
with gathering clouds late ahead of our
next fast moving disturbance. Much
colder tonight with lows in the mid
30s.

Showers move in from the southwest
early Thursday morning. With the colder
temperatures, there's a slight chance
of a few hours of freezing rain in the
Highlands, Greenbrier and perhaps some
areas across the New River Valley early
on. Then, with highs near the low and
mid 40s, we'll see periods of rain
Thursday afternoon. Locally heavy rain
is possible late Thursday night and
early Friday as a cold front moves to
the east. Some areas west of the
Roanoke Valley could get around 1.00"
of much needed rain.

Friday and Saturday look mostly to
partly sunny. Highs are forecast in the
low to mid 50s. An area of low pressure
is forecast to develop off the Carolina

depending on the exact track, it could

bring some rain or snow showers Sunday

While helping the woman, who'd run
out of gas early this morning, police
found out she was wanted on several
warrants.

She asked to go to the bathroom at a
convenience store, but bolted out a
back door and tried to escape through a
three-foot-wide drainage pipe.

Police said the woman crawled through
the pipe -- under eight lanes of
interstate highway-- but hit a dead end
when she got near a retention pond.
