Williamson Road Pawn Shop last month,
leaving a trail of stolen guns.
City Police say he stolen 10
guns- -at gun-point, dropped all-but
three of them when he ran, as the store
owner returned fire from Johnson.

minutes.
After waiting for the store to
clear out, Johnson allegedly pulled his
gun and started gathering up weapons.
As he backed toward the door,
Johnson allegedly fired a shot at the
owner, Steve Beheler, hitting him in
the arm. Beheler says the bullet is
still lodged in his chest.

learned Salem Police had a warrant for
his arrest for a pawn shop robbery
there last Fall.
They say he's confessed to both

Vick may have to give a deposition in
jail about his brother's legal
problems.

against former Virginia Tech
quarterback Marcus Vick for 6 point
three million dollars.
She alleges Marcus took advantage
of her sexually which caused her
psychological trauma.
Now her attorneys want a judge to
require Michael Vick to give a sworn
statement they hope will corroborate
her allegations.
Michael Vick is currently serving
a 23 month prison sentence in Kansas in
connection with a dog fighting ring.

cap the amount Virginians can borrow
from payday lenders.
Under his plan they'd only be
allowed to borrow 25- percent of their
gross monthly income.
Borrowers could also only get one
loan every 14- days or 26 in a year.

some human remains in downtown
Lexington-- and now many groups are
trying to figure out what happened.

courthouse.
Investigators say the remains are
most likely from a female dating back
to the late 1800's or early 1900's.
The remains were sent to a
lab in Roanoke.
An archaeologist will stay on the
site in case more remains are
uncovered.

County-- will bring 220 new jobs.

The company says it will add
production and packaging capacity for
its current lines of pharmaceuticals,
and new technology for additional
products.
The state and the Virginia

increased competition from big-box

Negotiations to sell the company

couple of months the 41-year-old former
Tech and Pulaski County star signed a
two-year contract extension.
In fact, for awhile many folks
thought he would be the next head coach

But Grantham's stock dropped this

almost the entire year before ending up
ranked 30th overall in the league.

offensive coordinator.

season, but the Dukes are talking about
upgrading things in Harrisonburg.
The James Madison University
Board of Visitors met today and the
group was officially presented with
Phase I of the planned expansion for
Bridgeforth Stadium.

football and others events such as
graduations and concerts.
The plan to completely knock down
the home side grandstand and build a
new two tiered complex in its place.
They will also add 4200 additional
seats to the north end zone - lifting

in 2009 and be ready for the 2011
season.
