the Democratic Presidential nomination,
and a new News 7 survey shows one
candidate has a strong lead in the
state.

about an hour ago, Senator Barrack
Obama has a 20 point lead over Senator
Hillary Clinton.
Survey USA conducted the poll for
News 7.
It asked 17 hundred people if the
primary were held today, who would they
vote for.
Fifty nine percent said Obama was their
choice.
Clinton received the support of 39
percent of the people polled.
On the Republican side, Senator John
McCain is the clear front runner in the
state.
He takes 57 percent of the support,
while his closest challenger Mike
Huckabee garnered 25 percent.

officials scramble to determine the
fate of six missing people. The
massive

More than forty people were injured

The blaze that followed engulfed the
sprawling plant and structural damage
to the old building is hampering the
search for the missing. Officals are
holding out hope that some workers
found a way out on their own.

Family members of the missing are
gathering at a local church to wait for

Forecast Center. We're back to partly
sunny skies Friday with highs returning
to the mid 50s. Winds will be light
from the southwest. Another piece of
energy heads toward us Friday night.
Once again, moisture will be limited,
however, a few flurries or sprinkles
can't be ruled out. Most of the lift
associated with this system will stay
to our north. Lows are forecast in the
upper 30s. Saturday looks partly sunny
with only a slight chance of a shower
(20%). It will be breezy at times with
highs near 50. Then - get ready for a
big change! Saturday night a front will
blast through the area. Winds will
increase and overnight lows will fall
into the 20s. Sunday will feature
sharply colder temperatures, a brisk
northwest wind and mountain snow
showers in West Virginia, the Highlands
and possibly the New River Valley.
After a cold Sunday night/Monday
morning, temperatures begin moderating
early in the week with mostly sunny
skies as high pressure remains in

tribemates? Well, the castaways didn't
wait to find out out.
The latest "Survivor" pits fans
against favorite contestants from past
shows.

was Steve "Chicken" Morris, a farmer
from Marion.
