behind a house on Clifton Street.

Giles County spilling more than
7-thousand gallons of diesel fuel into
a creek.
It happened just after 8 this
morning on Route 42 in the White Gate
Community.
State Police say the truck driver
wrecked in a curve, slid off the road
and into the creek - which leads to the
New River.
A nearby construction crew helped
dam up the creek right away.
The Department of Environmental
Quality responded, and state police say
cleanup will be expensive.
The driver had minor injuries and
charges are pending against him.

his clients... is back behind bars
tonight.
Kenny Tran was arrested Tuesday
night at his "Sky Nails" salon. He's
charged with felony sexual battery.

He's accused of sexually abusing
a woman last Friday.
Tran is also still accused of
molesting six other clients in his
store.
A court date for those charges
will be set in May.
Tran served a six month jail
sentence after a jury found him guilty
of assault and battery last year.

at the request of a man from his
district...
The man was riding home from
church with his family when his six-
year- old daughter spotted one of the
ornaments and asked her father what it
was.
The bill was assigned to the
House Transportation Committee, but the
Chairman, Delegate Joe May, did not
allow the bill to be heard.
Today Spruill sported two

that he is coming out of retirement to
coach the Cavs defenders.

through the tough transition period

stepped down at Marshall in 2005 just
before his 62nd birhtday.
He will come out of a three year
retirement to coach in the ACC - a
place he and Al Groh shared back in the
day when Pruett was Groh's defensive
coordinator in 1985 and 1986 when the
two were at Wake Forest.

State has taken a proactive stance in
hopes of saving its sports programs
from harsher penalties.
Today, FSU placed its sports
teams on probation for two years
because of an academic cheating
scandal.

university says about 60 student
athletes will suffer some loss of
eligibility. A tutor and
learning specialist have already been
fired. The cheating occurred through
online testing for a course in the fall
of 2006 and the spring and summer

whether or not to ban the Seminoles
from any type of postseason play.
