maker is opening a plant in Danville
and bringing 800 new jobs.
City officials announced this
morning that Com-40 will open a
manufacturing facility, and hire more
than 370 people within four years.
Com. 40 makes mattresses and
upholstered furniture. It is a major
supplier to Swedwood/Ikea, which
announced in 2006 that it would open a
manufacturing center in Southside.
The new Com. 40 facility will be
located in the old Universal Leaf
tobacco warehouse.

molesting a client.

Kenny Tran was arrested at his
salon Tuesday night. He's charged with
sexually abusing a woman on February
8th.

He is also still accused of
fondling six other clients.
A court date for those charges
will be set in May.

21 people were on board..
At least 10 of them were taken to the

drunk driving.
Numbers released yesterday by
State Police show the number of arrests
went up nearly four percent.

December for driving under the
influence.
During the same time last year
more than 35- hundred arrests were
made.

to update a shunt in his brain.

The shunt controls excess fluid, and
was placed in his skull nearly eight
years ago to relieve pressure on his
brain.

are urging residents to leave their
FEMA trailers, because of toxic levels
of formaldehyde fumes.
Tests showed some trailers had 40
times the customary exposure level for
the fumes.
The Centers for Disease Control says
formaldehyde could pose breathing
problems.
FEMA provided about 120- thousand
travel trailers to victims of
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Months later, occupants began
reporting headaches and nosebleeds.
But as recently as last spring, the
government dismissed allegations of a
health risk.

away.
And as Charlie D'Agata reports,
children's advocates say the 'kid-
zapper' violates human rights.

suing the people who make M&M's for six
million dollars.

Robert Burck is a street perfomer in
New York.
He's not really naked, and it is
probably safe to assume he's not really
a cowboy either.
For the last ten years, the Naked
Cowboy has strummed his guitar in the
middle of Times Square-- wearing only
cowboy boots, tighty whities, and a
white hat.
He got upset recently when Mars candy
put up a billboard in Times Square with
a blue M&M wearing his naked cowboy
costume.
He filed a lawsuit this week.
Mars has not commented.

Both the Boys and Girls
Basketball Teams have clinched the
Pioneer District Regular season Title.

specifically to to a size that will
allow James River to host Regional
Tournaments, which they will be doing
so this season

The success of the Boys team this
year is no real surprise, the Knights
made it all the way to the Final Four
in Richmond a year ago.
The Girls rise to the top of the
Pioneer District this season can also
be traced back to last year, but for
different reasons.

hundred Austrian gold coins, and is
worth over one and half million
dollars.
It weighs nearly 18- pounds...and the
model session was actually cut short
because the dress was so heavy.
The Japanese student designers
involved in creating the dress were
lent the coins by the Austrian Mint in
Japan.
