on campus.

This comes just days after a
gunmen opened fire in a classroom at
N-I-U, killing five students.

Hillary Clinton's trying to head Barack
Obama off at the pass.

Of today's contests, the stakes are
highest in Wisconsin. In the midst of
an 8-state losing streak, Clinton has
GOT to stop the bleeding. She had been
focused on primaries in Ohio and Texas,
but polls in Wisconsin show her coming
back, and she cancelled plans to leave
the state early.

Obama's busy fending off an
increasingly aggressive Clinton
campaign. For him - Wisconsin is an

important test to see if he can keep

Fire is now about 75-percent under
control, according to county
firefighters.

A state helicopter began
dropping water on the fire yesterday

to pay for hospital mistakes.

The government health program for the
elderly and the disabled has announced
that starting in October, it will not
pay hospitals when they commit a
handful of preventable errors, such as
accidentally leaving objects in the
body after surgery.

Medicare estimates the move could save

almost 200-million-dollars over 5
years.

U-S health officials looking into
problems with the blood thinner heparin
have admitted they've been ooking in
the wrong place.

Heparin has been linked to four deaths
and hundreds of allergic reactions.

Last month, officials inspected a
Chinese factory, where they thought the
drug's active ingredient was made.

Turns out, it was the wrong
factory....Officials plan to visit the
correct facility later this week.

A cancer warning for the uninsured and
people covered by Medicaid....

Researchers say when diagnosed with
cancer, those Americans are far more
likely to be in the advanced stages of
the disease.

A major factor seems to be that many of
them are not getting routine screenings
that could detect the disease in its
early stages when it's most treatable.

the House version of the state budget.

It's named for Alicia Kozkeiwicz

and sexually assaulted by an online
predator when she was 13.

The House Appropriations

million dollars in the House budget to
partially fund the law.

Officials say the money will
allow a 100- percent increase in cases

purchase high- speed internet and
electronic forensic equipment.

bodily harm.

Senators on the Courts of Justice
Committee say they don't think the bill

of lethal force against intruders.

Opponents of the bill call it an
excuse for residents to shoot first and
ask questions later.

to home for a restaurant owner in
Martinsville.

The latest shooting happened this
weekend in the parking lot of Blue Sea
Seafood Restaurant.

Police say normally a large crowd
gathers in this area after the club
across the street lets out, but on
Saturday morning, a confrontation
between two men turned deadly - one was
killed.

Starting this weekend the man who
owns the seafood place says he's
closing down before the club lets out.

Five months ago another man was
shot inside the business.

Police say he's still on life
support.

internal investigation, so she can't
comment on it.

factory....Officials plan to visit the
correct facility later this week.

A cancer warning for the uninsured and
people covered by Medicaid....

Researchers say when diagnosed with
cancer, those Americans are far more
likely to be in the advanced stages of
the disease.

A major factor seems to be that many of
them are not getting routine screenings

calling it quits.

A letter signed by him on the state
newspaper website reads --QUOTE-- "I

not aspire to nor accept the post of
President of the Council of State and

Commander in Chief."

Castro's exact ailment and condition is
closely guarded by the Cuban

government. Since falling ill, he has
stayed out of public view, appearing

only occasionally in photographs and
videos released by the government to

knock down rumors he was dead or
dying.

His retirement draws the curtain on a
political career that spanned the Cold

War, survived the Bay of Pigs and Cuban
Missile Crisis, and outlived the

Soviet Empire.

A firetruck on the way had some
trouble getting there too... the truck
was stopped at a railroad crossing-

The Green Ridge Mountain
Fire is now about 75-percent contained,
according to county firefighters.

A state helicopter began
dropping water on the fire yesterday
