new tool to get that information out.

But it's important to point out, some

involuntary manslaughter... following
the workzone accident that killed a
Vinton man.

Roanoke County Police say they
took Jeffrey Dupree (doo-pree) into
custody this afternoon.

Nininger (NY-ning-er) are now facing
charges of involuntary manslaughter and
driving under the influence.

reaction crash early Wednesday on
Electric Road that left dump truck
driver, Richard Slone dead.

Meanwhile investigators have
filed search warrants seeking computer
modules from the Hummer H3 that
Nininger was driving, and the Chevy
Avalanche Dupree was driving.

The sensors help technicians

diagnose problems, but they can also
record information like a car's
speed... acceleration, and braking in
the moments before a crash.

City police officer who wrecked a
cruiser near Pulaski.

He was CHARGED with driving under
the influence.

was allowed to have the vehicle as part
of the department's Take-Home Car
Program, however he wasn't supposed to
drive it outside the city without
permission.

He was off-duty at the time of
the wreck, and was not using the car on

Western States caused major destruction
in a Nevada town.

small town of Wells this morning.

The quake was CENTERED only 11
miles southeast of the town.

As many as 7-hundred homes were
damaged and there were several minor

1800's was also damaged.

will soon be serving time behind bars.

Delegates passed legislation that would
allow people to carry concealed guns
into restaurants.

The House voted 62 to 36 to allow
concealed weapons permit holders to
carry guns into restaurants or clubs as
long as they don't drink alcohol while
doing so.

Currently, guns must be visible
