APRISA WEATHER MINI OPEN
GRAPHIC
STRAIGHT TOSS TO BRENT
Robin Reed along with meteorologist
Brent Watts on the weather deck. A
solid shield of moisture will slide
into the region Thursday night. Clouds
will continue to lower and thicken.
Temperatures will fall through the 30s
and into the mid 20s. Initially, the
atmosphere will be cold enough to
support snow showers late Thursday
evening, however, as warmer air moves
in aloft, snow showers will change to
sleet and then freezing rain by Friday
morning. One (possibly two inches) of a
snow/sleet accumulation is possible
through Friday morning. As freezing
rain develops, watch your morning
commute. Roads and sidewalks could
become slick - and it doesn't take much
ice to cause big problems! Like the
last couple of systems we've dealt with
this winter, this won't be a prolonged
event. After a cold start to Friday
with freezing rain, temperatures will
warm above freezing, meaning a plain
cold rain is expected for the rest of
the day. Light snow showers could wrap
up the event Friday night with little
or no accumulation. Lows are forecast
in the mid 30s. Saturday starts with
mostly cloudy skies and perhaps a few
flurries, then partly sunny skies are
expected with highs warmer; nearing 50.
Sunday looks partly sunny with highs in
the mid and upper 40s. Mid 50s and
partly sunny skies should take us into
Monday. THURSDAY NIGHT: Light snow,
sleet, changing to freezing rain. Low:
28 FRIDAY: A.M. freezing rain changing
to rain by the afternoon. High: 36 For

James River would take the early
lead as Candace Berra will drop home
two point for the Knights inside as
they use their press to create offense.
Bath would try to hang close
enough to have a chance at the end.
Kelsey Shrader will knock in this
jumper from the free throw line for the
Chargers.
Bath would get within six in the
first half as Angela Hersher hits this
baseline jump shot as the clock expires
at the end of the quarter.
But James River would show why
its the top seed as Brooke Ware knocks

moves onto the district tournament
title game in the Pioneer where it will
